If someone has entered a script into Autodose but the start date is incorrect and needs to be adjusted, you can use the below steps to change the start date and insert the missing transactions. Usually, this will be due to their computer having issues or the internet being down so they dosed manually and couldn’t enter the script into Autodose prior to calling you.
- Restart Autodose and open as the super user.
- Open the patient and navigate to the Prescription Details tab under Prescriptions.
- Click on the button at the top-right with the ellipsis as shown below.
- Enter the super user’s login details.
- You will see a button appear under the patient’s name in the middle of the screen called Prescription Administration. Click it and you will see a screen similar to the one below.
- Use the Change Prescription Start Date field at the top to select the correct start date then press the Change button. This will only change the start date and won’t enter any of the missing transactions.
- Fill out the Insert new Transaction field in the bottom-middle of the window with the correct details then press Add. This will need to be done for each day’s transaction that is missing. If you aren’t on the phone with the client the easiest way to see what details are needed for the transaction is to copy another transaction of the same weekday. (ie. if you’re missing a transaction from last Monday, copy next Monday’s transaction)
- When you’ve adjusted the script’s start date and have added all the missing transactions, press Close at the top-right and then sign out of the super user account.
- Sign back in with the client’s normal Autodose user.
